Proclinical is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Health Outcomes Researcher. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about furthering their strategic and project management skills in a consultancy setting, while also expanding their expertise in health economics and outcomes research. The focus of the work will be on delivering high-quality literature reviews of clinical, health economic, and real-world evidence. These reviews often inform manuscripts or health technology assessment materials and can lead to qualitative or quantitative synthesis.

Responsibilities:

- Run systematic reviews and carry out evidence synthesis using technical expertise

- Administer study analyses of meta-analysis in collaboration with fellow technical statisticians.

- Work alongside other health economist colleagues to scope new projects, develop protocols and run search strategies to identify necessary evidence for health economic models

- Develop slide decks, study reports, manuscripts, posters, and other publications related to health economics and outcomes research

- Support or lead components of business development activities, including development of proposals for new projects

- Manage day-to-day projects and activities related to quality assurance

- Undertake continuous professional development and learning activities, including assisting, mentoring, or line managing other team members

Key Skills and Requirements:

- Degree in a relevant discipline such as medicine, pharmacology, life sciences, mathematics, economics, or statistics

- Understanding of systematic review, evidence synthesis, and critical appraisal concepts

- Proficiency in using analytical software for data analysis and/or synthesis

- Strong quantitative, critical thinking, and analytical skills

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Proficiency using Microsoft Office and reference management software

Desirable Skills and Experience:

- Postgraduate qualification in health policy or scientific or an evidence-based discipline equivalent

- Comprehension of advanced statistical methods and concepts for evidence synthesis or modelling

- Experience in mentorship and line management

- Project management and business development experience

- Interest in publication and conference attendance, with some publication history
