Design Manager About the role:
We are looking for Design Managers to support delivering a portfolio of works. As the Design Manager you will lead our multidisciplinary team of Engineers to deliver high quality design on time and on budget to our client.

You will be an integral part of the Project Management team working closely with the Project Manager, Planner and Quantity Surveyor to drive project delivery forwards. Knowledge of project management and engineering design management best practices, with strong ability to implement this knowledge.
• Experience of managing multi-disciplinary design teams
• Strong contract management skills and an understanding of the NEC forms of contract
• Able to manage multiple projects and conflicting deadlines
• Able to work autonomously and/or as part of a project team
• Pro-active in building knowledge and understanding of the electricity transmission and distribution industry.
• A strong understanding of CDM regulations and how to apply these throughout the design process
