Established in 1986, our client is a leading East Midlands-based Roofing & Building Envelope Contractor renowned for superior quality and client satisfaction. In this crucial role, your meticulous calculations and market awareness will be instrumental in securing profitable projects:

Precise Takeoff & Quantification: Analyse complex architectural drawings, specifications, and site surveys with meticulous accuracy, meticulously quantifying material, labour, and equipment requirements for diverse roofing and cladding systems.

Utilise advanced industry knowledge and specialised estimating software to generate accurate and competitive cost estimates, meticulously factoring in material prices, labour rates, overheads, and potential risks.

Contribute to the preparation of comprehensive tender documents, including Lump Sum Prices/BOQs, detailed cost breakdowns, and project schedules.

Foster strong client relationships by effectively communicating cost estimates, addressing inquiries, and providing expert insights throughout the project lifecycle.

Offer invaluable cost-driven data and support during negotiations, enabling the team to secure profitable contracts and solidify the company's competitive edge.

To excel in this challenging position, you possess:

Minimum of 3 years' experience as an Estimator in the roofing and cladding industry.

Deep understanding of various roofing and cladding systems, construction methods, and relevant building regulations.

Proficiency in advanced estimating software such as Causeway, PlanSwift, and BCIS, as well as Microsoft Office 365.

CPCS qualifications and experience in relevant roofing and cladding systems are highly preferred.
