Atrium Healthcare - Children's Home Registered Manager
Atrium Healthcare, on behalf of our client, is seeking a Children's Home Registered Manager to provide compassionate assistance to children coping with Emotional Behaviour Disorders, Autism, and Learning Difficulties.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement care plans for children under your supervision.
- Provide direct care and supervision to children in a safe and nurturing environment.
- Lead your team and other professionals to provide therapeutic care and support for each individual child focused on obtaining the best outcomes.
- Coordinate and communicate with parents/guardians regarding the child's progress and any concerns.
- Act as a positive role model to colleagues and children to meet their everyday living needs, developing trusting relationships that create recovery, growth, and lasting change.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and guidelines for child care facilities.
- Responsible for mentoring of staff, organization of work patterns, facilitation of care-focused training to QCF level 3, performance reviews, and appraisals.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of the children.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience working within Children's Residential homes at a Senior Level.
- Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young People's workforce.
- Achieved or working towards Level 5 Diploma in leadership for Health and Social Care services (Children and Young People's management qualification).
- Strong knowledge of legislation and safeguarding procedures such as The Children Act 1989, Children's home regulations.
- Highly driven, proactive, and enthusiastic leader.
- A strong people manager with a hands-on approach.
- Experience of budgets and financial management.
- Fully committed to achieving the best outcomes for children.
- Full driving license is essential.
- Ability to work flexibly and carry out on-call duties.
