TPF Recruitment are recruiting for an Accountancy Practice Tax Manager on behalf of our highly reputable and growing client based in Brighton, Worthing, Chichester & Gatwick. they boast a fantastic reputation and have an exciting client base made up of clients within the entertainment sector. These include actors and artists, sports professional, bloggers, vloggers and you-tubers to name a few. You will have exposure to some fascinating work, servicing this prestigious client base.

Drafting reports and letters of advice for many tax advisory issues
Training and reviewing work of more junior members of staff
Providing support to Directors and Partners in the Tax Advisory Group
Advice and implementation of corporate reconstructions, investor reliefs such as EIS/SEIS, staff incentive schemes
Advising owner managed businesses regarding remuneration planning, succession planning
Preparation of research & development claims, VAT returns, SDLT returns
Advising individuals regarding IHT planning and CGT mitigation
Reviewing corporate tax computations and returns
If you are not CTA qualified, you must be AAT or ACA/ACCA qualified and keen to study towards CTA. Experience with corporate taxes is essential and experience in other areas of tax will also beneficial. You may currently be working in an accounts/audit team with a strong interest in tax advisory, or you may already be working within a dedicated tax team.
Excellent teamwork and organisational skills, including monitoring timetables and budgets
A keen interest in learning and developing tax knowledge

This is a client facing role and there will be a requirement to support more junior members of the team, as well as assist in client advisory with the financial planners. As a Senior manager, you will be expected to help drive the growth and vision of the tax team. Essential Criteria CTA, ACA, ACCA qualified Wide variety of experience of income and capital taxes and personal and corporate tax planning in a small to medium-sized firms. Should have the qualities to deal with our clients who are high net worth individuals and owner managed businesses. Strong leadership and personnel management skills Excellent Microsoft word and advanced excel Experience with Microsoft Teams/Video Calls Proven experience in forming and maintaining client relationships Excellent analytical and time management skills with attention to detail Desirable Criteria 7 years’ experience within a tax role 2 years post qualification experience Knowledge of non UK domiciled taxation matter
