Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Software Design Engineer to play a key role in the development and implementation of software solutions for our advanced machinery systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation, with hands-on experience in programming PLCs and HMIs to optimise machinery performance and functionality. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and project managers, to design and develop software solutions for machinery control systems. Program and configure PLCs and HMIs to automate machinery processes, optimise performance, and ensure seamless integration with overall system architecture. Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in industrial automation, such as ladder logic, structured text, and function block diagram. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyse complex systems and identify optimal software solutions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
