Senior National Account Manager

What is involved in the Senior NAM role?

Management of existing and growing new accounts.
Lead role for the End User accounts.
Plan the annual account plan in line with the core objectives for the channel.
New Business Development - strategic and targeted to meet P&L objectives.
Leading the End User Team.
Work closely with New Product Development and Marketing teams.
Focusing on marketing led and quality driven activities.
Working closely with the Development team to understand the detail around product development.
Preparation of annual budgets around volumes, price point, costs and margins by product line.
Regular updates with the Head of Sales on progress ensuring appropriate activities are in place.
Seek feedback from the customer base.
Negotiation within the accounts around price increases and all contracts are managed and signed ahead of implementation etc.
Home based contract with one day per week or averaged over the month in the office.

Your background needs to include:

Foodservice commercial experience, able to display development of new accounts.
Strong network in the foodservice sector - End User experience an advantage not essential.
The ability and energy to onboard new customers and drive growth in current accounts.
Ambitious with the resilience and tenacity.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Work on own initiative and motivate and drive the team.
Strong analytical skills, able to devise trends and themes.
Managerial experience in previous commercial career.
