Are you an E-Planning Engineer looking for your next contract position?Expleo are currently recruiting on behalf of our well established client based in Bedfordshire for an E-Planning Engineer on a 12 month rolling contract. Working alongside the electrical project management team, you will be responsible for the management of quality and development schedules for the electrical parts on the vehicle. This will include collecting KPI's from design teams, presenting information in meetings, electrical concern management and analysis of all difficult concern.Responsibilities of the E-Planning Engineer:Working closely with electrical R&D teams, manufacturing sites and project teams to gather feedback in preparation for EE milestones.Scheduling EE project milestones and preparing risk assessments based on project master schedule and EE content.Prepare and issue the necessary documentation to the EE teams according to the project schedules.Preparation of EE project milestone presentations based on standard templates and KPI data gathered.Strong analytical skills to be able to review and challenge data.General understanding of vehicle development process and electrical architecture of vehicles.Great communicator with experience of coordinating electrical engineering project activities to get buy-in from stakeholders.Strong administration skills to control all project documentation.Where appropriate, propose and support with knowledge sharing and process improvement activities within the department, utilising database, or web-based tools.Requirements of the E-Planning Engineer:3 years relevant experience in automotive industry.Knowledge of electrical theory and electronic devices.Knowledge of hardware and software development processes.Project management experience.CAN and Ethernet analysis tools (e.g. Knowledge of database management tool (such as MS Access) and some programming knowledge would be beneficial.Ability to travel within the UK and internationally to suppliers, plants, global R&D centres etc. Ability to work cross-functionally with excellent communication and project management skills.Bachelor's degree or equivalent in an engineering disciplineCompetent with PC applications such as MS OfficeValid driving licenseIf you are interested in this position, please contact Hollie at Expleo Engineering
