My client is currently looking for a Machinist / Toolmaker to join their small friendly team on a permanent basis.

Based in Barrow upon Soar, they supports various sectors in their mechanical engineering and machining requirements, producing one offs, small batches, prototypes, repairs and refurbishments.

A strong mechanical engineering background is essential due to the varied work undertaken.

Assembly

* Welding / Light Fabrication.

* To manufacture high quality components in an efficient manufacture, to drawing specifications with minimum supervision.

Quality check own work to ensure high quality parts are manufactured.

Contribute to the housekeeping of the workshops, maintaining tidy and clean work areas.

Effective communication with colleagues, customers and project teams.

A flexible approach to respond to the demands of the business.

Part time would be considered.

Monday to Thursday: 7.Holidays: 28 days per annum including Bank and Public Holidays.
