Health and Social Care Skills Technician Part Time, 18.5 hours per week £11,851 per annum (£23,702 pro rata) Post to commence 1st August 2024 Who are we looking for? We have an exciting and unique opportunity to recruit a Health and Social Care Skills Technician to join the recently expanded curriculum facilities. In this role, you will support and set up the daily technical elements of all courses using a range of equipment and supplies for clinical skills and simulation teaching. The equipment range will include human patient simulators, computer-based simulators, and appropriate medical and surgical equipment. You will be required to provide high-level support and demonstrations to the curriculum teaching team and learners and have technical knowledge of equipment used in a healthcare and simulation-based education. The role will include ordering of consumables, maintenance and monitoring of equipment, and ensuring compliance with Health and Safety and COSHH. Ideally you will have experience of working within a clinical setting, and have experience or a qualification relevant to the role at Level 3 or above. You will have excellent time management and organisation skills and be able to communicate effectively across a range of staff and stakeholders.
