Electrical Engineer | London (West) | Renewables Client | £55,000

Job Description: Our client is scaling up their flagship hydrogen storage product. You will work within their chemical, mechanical and EE multidisciplinary team to lead the delivery of the electrical systems for their hydrogen storage systems. You will report to the Head of Systems and Integration and be part of a fast-growing team.

What you’ll do:
  1. Design, create and install electrical circuits and systems (12/24/48VDC, 230VAC and 415VAC) based on system architectures
  2. Compiling BoMs, part selection, part sourcing and ordering
  3. Managing the performance and delivery of external design teams
  4. Writing technical requirements and mapped test cases
  5. Carrying out design calculations to size components and wiring for thermal, space and cost constraints
  6. Project management experience
  7. Technical authoring for design documentation (i.e. design notes, circuits diagrams, panel layouts, timing plans, design journals)
  8. Write test procedures and perform hands-on system verification and validation testing on test rigs
  9. Lead safety assessments such as FMEAs, risk assessments, HAZOPs
  10. Design for systems regulatory certification (i.e. UKCA/CE)
