Apprentice Fabricator Welder

Apprenticeship Route:
Foundation Apprenticeship in Welding and Fabrication (Level 2). Engineering
Full-time, 31 to 40 hours per week
Apprenticeship rate entitlement for first year of the apprenticeship, National Minimum Wage rate entitlement thereafter. Duties will include job shadowing a member of the company to learn the welding skills and methods needed to complete your apprenticeship. Involvement with bespoke metalwork, balustrades, canopies, staircases, balconies and secondary steel work. Whilst in full-time employment you will undertake the following qualifications:
NVQ Diploma in Fabrication and Welding Engineering
Essential Skills in Application of Number, Communication and Digital Literacy
Personal Qualities:
Enthusiastic about the job and training with a real desire to qualify
Must be able to travel to Pyle for mandatory off-the-job training

All interviews will occur at the employer’s premises, however you may be invited to an informal interview at the training centre. This would be to ensure suitability for the apprenticeship programme.
