Aspiring Speech and Language Therapist - SEN LSA
This SEN LSA role is a very good starting point for an aspiring Speech and Language Therapist. You will be working closely with children who have various complex needs.
At this Southend School, the staff have such an empathetic love for the student's and always endeavour to engage the local community and are always respectful and conscious of each student's personal context, when in and out of school.
This role will give you fantastic, hands-on experience working with Autism, ADHD, non-verbal and other complex needs.
Aspiring Speech and Language Therapist - SEN LSA
You will often work closely with professionals including the schools' SENCo, Art and Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists and Pastoral support. You will get to use your own artistic and creative skills to aid learning and well-being.
This role is all about giving children as much joy, stimuli and recognition as possible, giving them as much chance and ability to achieve their very best - inside the classroom and outside.
Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
