The Senior Fixed Income Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in a large scale, strategic transformation program to remodel and enhance our Fixed Income capabilities to maintain current capabilities and support new business growth. The role requires a detailed understanding of fixed income in an asset management firm, and proven experience in conducting and producing high quality analysis in partnership with professionals across the front office. The successful candidate will also need excellent presentation skills to communicate effectively and succinctly to senior stakeholders, be detail oriented, very hands on and have experience of leading activities such as workshops and working collaboratively with a broad range of key business staff.
Work collaboratively, with business and technology teams and stakeholders, to conduct analysis and produce detailed project artefacts including process flows, requirements documents and other analysis documentation.
Lead collaborative partnerships and dialog with related business units beyond Fixed Income
Actively promote alignment and compliance with overlapping strategic programs and projects across data, order management and accounting
Continually update the Program Managers, Program Director and business stakeholders of progress, and raise issues as soon as encountered.
Ensure proposed solutions are practical and meet the success parameters and business objectives.
Establishes and maintains networks and alliances. Seeks a consensus with business partners. Understands and seeks ways to improve the quality and results of their own work and that the quality meets expectations. Evaluates the effectiveness of current practices in pursuit of improved performance. Seeks opportunities and takes action to enhance personal and functional performance and meet consistently more challenging expectations.
Solicits internal and external customer evaluation of performance and devises measures for improvement.
Utilizes a variety of information and data sources pertaining to organizational and professional trends. Finds hidden data. Relates and manipulates data from various sources to create a fuller picture. 10+ years Asset Management experience.
~5+ years proven Front Office Investment Management Fixed Income business analyst experience, successfully delivering projects.
~ Proven experience of working directly with investors in the asset management industry.
~ Ability to work well with people with varying technical, business and cultural backgrounds.
~ Very good experience with Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
~ Ability to translate and simplify complex business and technical concepts.
~ Effective at delivering high quality output under time constraints.

15+ years of Project Management experience.
~ Lead a team of business analysts, produce business requirements documents and other detailed documentation in a major front office strategic program.
~ Excellent Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and SharePoint skills.
~ A business analysis or project management qualification (CBAP, BCS, PMP, Prince II, etc.)
