Milestone Infrastructure are currently looking to recruit a Site Engineer to work on our A382 Project near Newton Abbot in Devon. As a Site Engineer you will be part of our Civils Projects team who carry out Civil Engineering projects across the UK . The A382 is a major highway upgrade scheme we are carrying out for our Client, Devon County Council.

As the Site Engineer your duties & responsibilities will be:

  • Management of all engineering activities including engineering control, setting out and providing direction to workforce and leading Quality control systems to ensure compliance with project design and specifications
  • Keep accurate records including site diary, records of works activities, resource allocations and as-built information
  • Quality monitoring & recording
  • Ensuring the highest possible Health, Safety & Environmental standards are employed across all projects, adhering to Milestone health and safety policy/ environmental policy and actively supporting the Injury Free Environment (IFE) culture that is an integral part of the Milestone working environment.
  • Temporary Works checks

Skills & Knowledge Requirements

  • Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent
  • Experience of setting out Earthworks, Groundworks and Road construction
  • UK Driving Licence
  • IT Skills
  • Good organisational ability
