The Credit Risk Team is integral in supporting the development of the commodities desks within the Commodities and Global Markets division in EMEA. As a Credit Risk Analyst, you will be responsible for managing the credit risk of a diverse portfolio of counterparties operating in the energy sector. You will conduct quantitative and qualitative credit assessments, prepare thorough written analyses, set internal ratings, recommend credit limits, and manage the annual portfolio credit review processes. You will also provide timely risk-based recommendations on new trade requests, build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and undertake regular exposure analysis and risk monitoring. What You Offer 2-3 Years Credit Risk experience. Strong communication skills to provide concise and insightful credit recommendations. An ability to communicate effectively at all levels with risk colleagues and front office internal stakeholders. Strong interest in financial analysis, with an understanding of evaluating company financial statements to determine creditworthiness. Ability to identify and evaluate key risks from proposed transactions and potential challenges. Familiarity with financial/physical commodity products and understanding of related credit exposure. A keen interest in of energy markets, over the counter derivatives and futures products, with strong organisational skills. Ability to work on transactions in a fast-paced capital markets/trading environment.
