In this critical role, you will review, analyse, and assess the impact of services and interventions provided to children, young people, and their families by Children's Services. Your insights and judgements will inform future professional practice and service delivery, ensuring continuous improvement and adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements.
Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements in the completion and review of Education, Health, and Care Plans for children with special educational needs and disabilities.
Oversee the placement of children and young people with Education, Health, and Care Plans, ensuring their needs are met.
Provide independent, professional support and challenge to drive service improvement in collaboration with localities.
Lead and implement quality assurance practices and processes for new and amended Education, Health, and Care Plans, annual reviews, and the decision-making process around education, health, and care needs assessments.
Relevant degree in Social Work, Education, Health, or a related field.
Proven experience in a similar role within Children's Services, specifically working with special educational needs and disabilities and Education, Health, and Care Plans.
In-depth knowledge of statutory and regulatory requirements related to Education, Health, and Care Plans and education, health, and care needs assessments.
