We are currently recruiting for a Solution Owner on a full time 12-month fixed term contract to focus on the accounting and operations aspects of our sales system within our Finance team.
This role can be hybrid based from our Glasgow or London office, or remote within the UK.
The Solution Owner is responsible for representing their ACCA Directorate within the programme team in our delivery of D365 FO and CE. They will work with their Directorate Business Lead and collaborate with other ACCA solution owners, Solution Implementation Partner and a wide variety of stakeholders to lead detailed design of processed, support build delivery, testing and delivery and supporting business readiness. This will include discussing, negotiating and agreeing solutions which will contribute to overall implementation.
From a business perspective the Solution Owner will act as a primary liaison point for ACCA within the programme. The Solution Owner is the primary communicator and link between their Directorate Business Lead, Solution Implementation Partner, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), additional stakeholders and project teams
Responsible for working with the SMEs and colleagues across their a comprehensive solution is delivered that reflect their Directorate's perspective as well as the wider ACCA perspective
Responsible for obtaining, inputting and clarifying the ACCA business vision to the project team to ensure this is clear when creating solutions and other deliverables
Responsible for quality to meet business requirements of design, build, testing and business readiness ensuring communication of changes/progress to stakeholders and the Business Lead
Responsible for attending and representing the business at project meetings, workshops and communication sessions
Experience working within global accountancy and financial operations with knowledge of order to cash processes and financial controls. Knowledge of Microsoft D365 FO and CE is beneficial
Professional Accounting Qualification is preferred
Excellent communications skills with the ability to translate technical descriptions into clear business language to accommodate individual stakeholder group's communication requirements
Good experience of having worked in a project environment as part of a project team
