We have recently joined the Express Engineering Group who employ nearly 300 employees across their two Company’s, Express Engineering (Fabrications) (trading as QA Weld Tech) and Express Engineering (Gateshead). The main duties of the Quality Administrator role will include:

  • Reviewing documentation to ensure compliance with the required specifications.
  • Verification of inspection results and report creation
  • General support of the Quality Department
As with all positions, due to the nature and varying demands of our business, the responsibilities and tasks are not limited to this overview and may change to meet future demands. To be successful in this Quality Administrator role at QA Weld Tech, you should:
  • Have experience in producing or evaluating technical quality documentation
  • Ideally have knowledge of inspection or NDT in an engineering or manufacturing environment
  • Be proactive and highly organised, able to work independently
  • Have a customer focus and a right first-time mentality
  • Be professional and confident with a desire to learn
  • Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs
