Our client, a well-established investment banking firm based in the heart of London, is currently seeking a skilled and driven Data Analyst to join their dynamic team. As a Data Analyst, you will be pivotal in providing analytical support to the investment banking team, turning data into insights that inform business decisions. You will be responsible for managing a variety of analytical tasks, from creating and maintaining reports and dashboards to performing in-depth analysis on large datasets.
Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using tools like PowerBI or Tableau.
Perform complex data analysis and modelling using SQL, Python, and Excel.
Translate data findings into strategic recommendations.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data requirements.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all analytics activities.
A Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of relevant industry experience, preferably in a financial setting.
Strong technical proficiency in Python, SQL, and Excel.
Experience with data visualization tools like PowerBI or Tableau is highly desirable.
