Taylor Root is working with an established brand in the consumer and manufacturing sector. They're looking to hire a 7+ PQE Senior Commercial Lawyer, who can start in May on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.

Reporting into the Head of Legal & Compliance, this role will be leading the Commercial Contracts division of the EMEA legal team providing advice across their 17 affiliates.

Responsibilities include:

  • Drafting and negotiating a range of commercial contracts e.g. MSAs, framework agreements, distribution contracts, supplier contracts;
  • Handling contracts for data systems and software relating the company's platforms;
  • Advising on agreements relating to marketing and advertising;
  • Advising on agreements for their affiliates across continental Europe, and supporting on project-related documents;
  • Liaising with key stakeholders and co-ordinating with the wider corporate group;
  • Supporting on the development of improving efficiencies within the legal team and the upkeep of their contact management system.

Experience required:

  • 7+ years' experience in commercial law.
  • In-house experience is advantageous.
  • Strong contract negotiation and drafting skills.
  • Experience working with partners across Europe.
