The University of Liverpool Maths School is a state sixth form that teaches mathematics, further mathematics, physics and computer science to talented and motivated 16 to 19-year-old students from a wide variety of backgrounds.Recently judged Outstanding in all areas by Ofsted, the school has achieved exceptional academic results since opening in September 2020, while providing a strongly inclusive and supportive pastoral environment for students.
Lead our team of expert mathematicians delivering A-Level Mathematics, Further Mathematics, and much else
Lead our outreach programme, which provides support, enrichment and inspiration to a large number of students across the Liverpool City Region. We collaborate with the University of Liverpool,the NW3 Mathshub, Axiom Maths, the Tutor Trust and other organisations in the delivery of our outreach work.
You will need to be an excellent teacher of mathematics with a strong commitment to equality of opportunities for young people. We are looking for an ambitious leader with strong communication skills, empathy for the needs of young people and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders and establish strong working relationships with schools and other providers.
