An opportunity has arisen in the fast-moving domain of Industrial Transfer & Offset, supporting the delivery of industrialisation projects as part of contract execution. You will work with local industry in export countries and various MBDA directorates including Sales, Programmes, Operations and Finance to deliver industrial transfer and offset. You will evolve in a multi-cultural and challenging environment with international travel.
Job Title : Industrial Transfer Officer
Salary : Up to £45,000 depending on experience
Location : Stevenage, Bristol, Bolton, Henlow or Homeworker (We may be able to offer a relocation package for this role)
Dynamic (hybrid) working : 0-2 days per week on-site due to workload classification
Security Clearance : British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
The opportunity:
- Take ownership of key tasks required in the planning and delivery of industrial transfer projects for export campaigns. This involves the development of transfer plans, resourcing profiles, risk registers, milestone trackers and other key tasks. The role takes full responsibility for key deliveries transversally across projects.
- Responsibilities could include financial management, project management and planning for Industrial Transfer projects.
- Campaign planning involves the development of transfer plans, resourcing profiles, risk registers, and other key tasks.
- Delivery support involves work package leadership, financial management, milestone tracking and more.
- Support stakeholder engagements with key presentations.
- Provide key communications and associated registers to help maintain relationships with stakeholders and industrial partners.
- Take responsibility for key functional areas to deliver industrial transfer tasks.
What we're looking for from you:
- A driven professional with an interest in international working.
- A determined individual with a record of accomplishment and experience in project management.
- Experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Experience with export, international business and supplier management is desirable.
- An enthusiastic, pro-active and tenacious individual who can prioritise and understand business needs as well as managing the day-to-day decisions.
- Preferably educated to degree level, but candidates with significant and relevant experience will be considered.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to construct and articulate convincing arguments and manage difficult conversations.
- A team player and advocate of multinational cooperation.
