Are you an experienced co-edition sales professional looking to develop your career?

We are hiring a new role for an established international publisher who is expanding their reach with a new venture in the UK.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team to bring a new publishing range to the market. You would be selling an exciting new Children’s illustrated list primarily as well as the opportunity to sell a focused range of adult titles.

As one of the first members of this new team you will be highly adaptable and confident working both independently and in collaboration across a broad range of co-edition markets.

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate international sales, including confident negotiations of deals and identifying potential clients
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with new and existing customers, forming a wide network of international contacts
  • Capitalise on a variety of sales opportunities before the company forms a more specific territorial focus
  • Use market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities to grow the business and make an impact in the market, targeting the mass and trade sectors

Experience and skills required:

  • A minimum of 3 years of being fully responsible for Co-edition accounts and business development
  • Knowledge of selling illustrated, non-fiction children’s books
  • Good international contacts and a willingness to travel
  • A high level of organisation and communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
