Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Landscape Technician to join our team. As a Landscape Technician, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to landscape maintenance and construction. This is a hands-on position that requires physical labor and attention to detail.

Duties:
  1. Build and maintain gardens, lawns, and outdoor spaces
  2. Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, weeding, and pruning
  3. Operate hand tools and power tools to complete assigned tasks
  4. Assist with the installation of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls
  5. Ensure proper care and maintenance of equipment and tools
  6. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in landscape maintenance or related field is preferred
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems and ability to troubleshoot minor issues
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with clients in a professional manner

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week

Education: Secondary School (preferred)
Experience: Landscape maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
Language: English (preferred)
Licence/Certification: Class G Licence (preferred)
Work Location: In person
