Duties:
  • Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment in an industrial setting
  • Perform routine inspections to identify potential issues and ensure proper functioning of equipment
  • Diagnose mechanical problems and develop solutions to resolve them
  • Fabricate and install parts as needed
  • Analyze blueprints, schematics, and manuals to determine proper installation and maintenance procedures
  • Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
  • Conduct on-site customer training
  • Promptly prepare and submit service reports and time sheets
  • Must be available to travel overnight on occasion
  • Other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Must have history, knowledge, and experience in CNC machine tool installations and repairs
  • Ability to fabricate, analyze, and troubleshoot mechanical systems
  • Must have knowledge and ability to repair machine mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components
  • Must be able to use essential hand tools and electrical test equipment
  • Must have 3 and/or 5 axis machine tool experience
  • Must have a strong mathematical and mechanical aptitude
  • Must be able to read and understand electrical schematics
  • Excellent customer service skills – Proficient in English (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
  • Must be proactive and able to anticipate arising needs and take appropriate action
  • Must abide by company ethics and standards upholding confidential information
Education Requirements:

Certified Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Red Seal, Technical Degree, Engineering Degree, or Equivalent Experience

Other Requirements:

Must have a valid driver’s license

Compensation:

Hourly rate based on experience

Job Types:

Full-time, Permanent

Pay:

$33.32-$42.11 per hour

Expected hours:

40 per week

Benefits:

Flexible Language Requirement: French not required

Schedule:

8-hour shift, Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

Overtime pay
