At Nelson Permanent Placements, we are currently collaborating with our client who specialise in providing solutions and services for industrial processes, with a focus on automation, instrumentation, and control systems. Our client are seeking a Panel Wireperson to join their rapidly growing global team based just south - west of Peterborough. Working Hours: 40 Per week Salary: £30,000 Mon - Fri Role duties:
- Assembling stainless and mild steel enclosures
- Laying out chassis plates using drills, taps, measuring tape, ruler, and rivets
- Reading drawings to install electrical components
- Wiring electrical components according to specified drawings using crimping and stripping tools
- Traveling within the UK and abroad as per project requirements
- Level 3 Electrical Engineering – City and Guilds
- Ability to construct metal panels and enclosures to high-quality standards, meeting deadlines, and adhering to industry and customer regulations
- Wiring of electrical components
- Confident and effective written and verbal communication at all levels internally and externally
- Ability to interpret, comprehend, and work from technical drawings
- Confidence to review technical drawings, question when necessary, and provide necessary amendments
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proactive approach to acquiring new skills and knowledge
- Effective time management abilities with a structured and methodical approach to workload
- Commitment to delivering high-quality work with attention to detail, even in fast-paced environments, while meeting deadlines
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently, yet able to collaborate effectively within a team with a priority on safety
- Openness to seeking assistance when needed
- Enthusiastic individual with good team collaboration skills
- Aptitude for learning from and influencing others with effective communication across all levels
