12-Temporary Position

The client I am representing is one of the most infamous organisations within Public Sector and Government across the UK. This particular branch provide services and guidance to the community in and local businesses within Lancashire and the surrounding area. The key responsibilities of a Payroll Officer include, but may not be limited to:
Ensure all payroll information is processed accurately, in line with deadlines, internal policies/procedures, Government legislation and HMRC requirements.
Ensure the timely inputting of payroll data and completion of payroll runs to enable all colleagues to be paid correctly and on time.
Contribute to a range of payroll projects and activities as requested by the Payroll Manager or Payroll Advisor.
Assist in providing key stakeholders with support, information, data and advice in relation to pay and benefits.
Process all aspects of pension and expenses administration.

The successful a Payroll Officer should possess:
Experience of working in a payroll department
Working knowledge of payroll screens and transfer facilities within the HR system.
Comprehensive knowledge of computer input and the use of spreadsheets.
Excellent hourly rate between £12.00 per hour.
~12-month temporary contract with possibility of extension.
