Reporting to the COO of this large multi-site UK & International food business this is a challenging and exciting opportunity to provide leadership and technical expertise across the areas of food safety, product quality and corporate risk management. The successful candidate will also be part of the business leadership team and so you will help shape the organisational strategy and lead its deployment within your areas of expertise and control.

We require a strong technical and people leader with a track record of success within food manufacturing, operating at an appropriate level to the role and overseeing multiple sites from a technical perspective. You will have built up an enviable array of relevant food industry contacts and will possess a detailed understanding of food safety and compliance requirements for UK/EU food production. As well as your deep understanding of the UK food retail sector you’ll be skilled in working cross functionally and any exposure to experience of management systems as applied to QESH will be welcomed, as will experience in ESG.
