M&E Maintenance Shift Leader (Datacentre Environment)
My Client is a leading provider of Facilities services, committed to delivering reliability, efficiency, and innovation to our clients. We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled M&E Maintenance Shift Leader to join our team. If you are passionate about ensuring the optimal functioning of mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems within a datacenter environment and leading a team to success, we want to hear from you.
Lead and supervise a team of M&E maintenance technicians during assigned shifts.
Provide direction, guidance, and mentorship to team members to ensure adherence to maintenance schedules, safety protocols, and quality standards.
Serve as the primary point of contact for technical issues and escalations related to M&E systems during assigned shifts.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, including those related to electrical distribution, HVAC systems, cooling equipment, and backup power systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including facilities engineers and operations staff, to address and resolve technical challenges effectively.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, equipment inspections, and spare parts inventory.
Generate shift reports detailing maintenance tasks completed, issues encountered, and resolutions implemented.
Provide regular updates to management on the status of M&E systems, maintenance activities, and any emerging issues.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies during all maintenance activities.
Conduct safety briefings, toolbox talks, and training sessions for team members to promote a safe working environment and mitigate risks.
Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, electrical distribution, generators, UPS systems, and cooling equipment.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and empower team members to achieve excellence.
Proficiency in maintenance management software and tools.
HVAC, Electrical Engineering) are a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
