Job Title: Accounts Assistant (Purchase Ledger)

Our client, a dynamic and growing company in Erdington, is seeking a skilled Accounts Assistant with a strong focus on purchase ledger and proficiency in Excel. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team on a temp-to-perm basis.
As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the financial operations of our client. Your primary responsibilities will include managing the purchase ledger and utilising Excel for various accounting tasks. Purchase Ledger Management:
Process supplier invoices and credit notes.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date purchase ledger records.
Excel Utilisation:
Create and maintain spreadsheets to track financial data.
Perform data analysis and generate financial reports.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity.
General Accounting Support:
Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects.
Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant or similar role.
Strong proficiency in managing purchase ledgers.
Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
AAT or Part Qualified
AAT qualification or equivalent is required
Competitive hourly rate with the potential for permanent placement.
