About the Company
Join a leading engineering company in Keighley, renowned for precision manufacturing and a steadfast commitment to quality. Specializing in high-quality components for the valve industry, our client is seeking an experienced CNC Turner Programmer/Setter to enhance their team.
The Role
As a CNC Turner Programmer/Setter, you will:
- Run CNC lathes using Fanuc and/or Heidenhain controls.
- Program from engineering drawings to ensure the accurate production of components.
- Perform quality control, tooling, and maintenance tasks to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Program, set, and operate CNC lathes using Fanuc and/or Heidenhain controls.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Produce high-quality components to meet customer specifications.
- Conduct regular quality checks for accuracy and precision.
- Maintain and care for machinery, including tooling and equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets.
Requirements
- Proven experience in CNC Turning with relevant controls.
- Ability to program from engineering drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication skills and teamwork abilities.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing production needs.
