We are looking for an Upholsterer to Join our clients team in the upholstery section where you'll work on social space products. You'll bring your expertise in modern upholstery techniques to maintain a high level of craftsmanship. Your responsibilities will include executing bespoke upholstery, working accurately to technical drawings, and meeting production deadlines. OVERALL JOB PURPOSE Working in the upholstery section as part of a small team, upholstering all social space products. Involvement in introducing new products and trials. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

  • Maintaining a high level of craftsmanship on a wide range of modern upholstery techniques
  • Responsible for executing bespoke upholstery to the highest standard
  • Hands on experience in cutting and template making
  • Work accurately to technical drawings and specifications
  • Maintaining workspace to highest level
  • Turning round work within agreed deadlines
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
  • Experience in all upholstery skills & techniques - minimum 2 years
  • A strong upholstering background with a keen eye to detail and accuracy in all work to ensure production times and quality control standards are met
  • Previous experience of air powered staple guns and hand tools is necessary
  • Experience in measuring and cutting skills
  • Experience of working to a production plan
  • Experience / knowledge of quality control processes and procedures
