We are currently seeking a number of Highways Supervisors to deliver works in Hertfordshire on behalf of our client, a main contractor within Highways Maintenance.

You will be responsible for delivering Planned works across Herts, managing workforce and sub contractors.

Responsibilities for Highways Supervisor

  • Site supervision
  • Site measurement
  • Produce CDM construction phase plans then ensure all safety procedures carried out on site.
  • Ordering of plant and materials on daily basis
  • Undertake site inspections/inductions prior to work starting.
  • Assist in preparation of weekly cost and value reports.
  • Maintain site diary.
  • Manage subcontractors on site.
  • Provide ECI to client/designer.
  • Produce and adhere to works programme.
  • Actively foster a positive staff morale
  • Willingly carry out any reasonable task as requested by a member of management.
Education & Certification for Highways Supervisor
  • HNC or NVQ equivalent.
  • SSSTS, IOSH or similar.
  • NRSWA
  • Driving Licence
