My client, a top US law firm, is actively recruiting for an experience Paralegal to join them on a permanent basis in their London office - working as their new Banking & Finance Paralegal.

This London team advises on a broad range of domestic and cross-border issues - with a number of their clients being from the chemicals, energy, financial, pharmaceuticals, real estate and transport sectors (including many more).

The successful Paralegal will be based in their Banking & Finance group who focus on core areas such as general banking, leveraged finance, fund finance, acquisition finance and derivatives. You'll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:

- Document preparation (proof-reading and drafting legal documentation)

- Assisting with transaction management and the conditions of precedent process

- Liaising with local Counsel/overseas Lawyers

- Assisting with Companies House filings, including registration of security interests

- Preparing post-completion documentation bibles

- Assisting with billing procedures

- Producing pitch documents and marketing materials

- Assisting with client on-boarding procedures, including CDD/KYC

- Managing the signing and completion logistics for financing transactions

+ many more.

To qualify for this Banking & Finance Paralegal opportunity, you'll need to have/be the following:

- Have a minimum of 2:1 LLB or equivalent

- Have a minimum of 12 months experience within a transactional practice (Banking & Finance preferable)

- Be extremely organised and flexible in a fast-paced environment

- Have excellent drafting and legal research skills

- Be proficient with packages such as Microsoft Office, DocuSign and Adobe Acrobat
