Head of Engineering | Asset Management | Interim Contract | £950 p/d Inside IR35
An Interim Head of Engineering is required to cover someone on Mat Leave for a growing asset management firm on a contract basis. The role will see you working on a new Digital Platform Enhancement to upgrade the firm’s client-facing digital platform to improve user experience and integrate new features. Your role will see you gather feedback from users, define the product requirements, work with the IT and UX/UI teams to implement changes, test new features, and oversee the rollout of the updated platform.
Day Rate - £950 p/d inside IR35
Onsite Working – 5 days p/w onsite. Closest station is Liverpool Street
9 month contract
- Technology Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and implement a technology strategy that aligns with the firm's overall business objectives, driving innovation in asset management platforms and tools.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and technical excellence.
- System Architecture & Scalability: Oversee the design and development of scalable, reliable, and secure systems that support trading, portfolio management, risk analysis, and other critical functions.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with portfolio managers, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions that enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.
- Regulatory Compliance & Security: Ensure that all systems and processes comply with relevant financial regulations and industry standards, with a strong focus on data security and integrity.
- Vendor & Technology Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with technology vendors and partners, ensuring the best tools and platforms are in place to support the firm’s objectives.
