The Role:

We are looking for an Oracle Cloud P2P Consultant, with a strong focus on Accounts Payables, to join our talented delivery team in a client facing role, working on exciting projects across our broad client base. To be considered for this role you will be expected to:

• Prove your experience of full cycle implementation projects

• Demonstrate solution ownership for Oracle ERP Cloud with strong knowledge of Payables

• Prove your experience in implementing and supporting Oracle Cloud P2P modules

• Evidence your knowledge of Oracle Cloud P2P processes, including Procurement, Inventory, Sourcing, and Payables

• Evidence your proficiency in configuring and customising Oracle Cloud P2P applications

• Demonstrate your experience in leading end-to-end implementation projects, from requirements gathering to post go-live support

• Evidence excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues

• Demonstrate your ability to communicate clearly and your client facing consultancy skills

Skills & Experience (Essential):

• Communication Skills: Effective written and verbal communication skills are essential for interacting with colleagues, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

• Attention to Detail: Precision and accuracy in tasks such as data entry, contract review, and purchase order processing are crucial to avoid errors and ensure compliance.

• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills are necessary to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines effectively.

• Problem Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues, troubleshoot problems, and propose solutions to overcome challenges in procurement or commercial processes.

• Computer Literacy: Proficiency in using software applications such as Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and procurement software for data analysis, reporting, and purchasing activities.

• Understanding of Procurement Processes: Familiarity with procurement principles, procedures, and best practices, including sourcing, purchasing, contract management, and supplier relationship management.

• Teamwork: Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including stakeholders from finance, operations, and legal departments, requires strong teamwork skills.

• Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities, environments, and business requirements in a dynamic procurement or commercial landscape.

• Ethical Conduct: Commitment to ethical standards, integrity, and compliance with relevant regulations and organizational policies.

• Customer Service Orientation: Focus on meeting internal and external customer needs, providing responsive support, and building positive relationships with stakeholders.

• Qualifications: Have at least 1 to 2 years experience; be able to explain process flow for the procurement business area (business acumen)

Skills & Experience (Desirable):

• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse data, market trends, and supplier performance to make informed decisions and recommendations.

• Negotiation Skills: Basic negotiation skills are valuable for junior roles involved in supplier negotiations, contract terms, and pricing discussions.

• Commercial Awareness: Awareness of market dynamics, industry trends, and regulatory requirements that may impact procurement decisions and commercial activities.

Financial Acumen: Basic understanding of financial concepts such as cost analysis, budgeting, and cost-saving opportunities in procurement activities.

• Qualifications: A fully or part qualified procurement professional (CIPS Level 3 and above or equivalent); usage of tier 1 systems – Oracle, SAP Ariba, Coupa or similar; experience in supporting a system implementation project and familiarity with agile, waterfall or hybrid methodologies

Remuneration & Benefits:

• Eligibility to enroll into the Company auto-enrolment pension scheme (within 3 months of commencing employment). The Company will contribute 5% of qualifying earnings (rising to 7% from December 2024); your contributions will be based upon UK government legislation

• Annual leave entitlement of 25 days per annum plus Bank Holidays. Our holiday year runs in line with our accounting period from 1st June to 31st May

• Eligibility to participate in the employee utilisation scheme. You could earn up to an additional 10% of your gross basic salary per annum paid over three instalments across the preceding financial year

• Death in Service Benefit 4 x salary

• Internal recruitment initiative - £5k reward per experience hire after 6 months’ successful probation period; £1k reward per apprentice/graduate hire after 6 months’ successful probation period

• Certified training in both ServiceNow and Oracle Cloud

• Paid expenses outside your base location, as per company policy
