Information Security Analyst – Permanent – Hybrid

Bestman Solutions is partnering with a leading zero-emission energy firm to expand its Security division. We are seeking a dedicated Information Security Analyst to ensure the security of the firm’s IT Networks in compliance with regulatory requirements.

As the Security Analyst, you will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Security Incident Remediation, acting as the primary contact for related issues. You will need a strong understanding of security operations and experience with tools such as Firewalls, VPN Gateways, SIEM, and EDR.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support in Security, Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), as well as Security Assurance.
  • Assist in penetration testing activities and both internal and external audits.
  • Ensure enforcement of security policies and adherence to security operating procedures for system and network management.
  • Monitor network activity to identify intrusions and escalate as necessary.
  • Review high-level and low-level architecture documents to ensure compliance with security policies and requirements.
  • Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments, compliance checks, reviews, and audits to ensure security controls are in place.

Qualifications:

  • Expertise in Cloud technologies (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, AWS).
  • In-depth understanding and experience with Cybersecurity Frameworks & Standards (ISO, NIST, IEC).

Proficiency in key security operations domains:

  • Threat & Vulnerability Management
  • Security Incident Handling
  • SOC Tools Administration
  • Security Forensics
