Job Description:

We are a unique all-through school (Nursery to Year 13), looking to appoint someone who shares our values and determination to deliver an excellent, inclusive education to our young people.

We are looking for a Careers Lead who is passionate about expertly guiding our young people in their future choices towards employment, apprenticeships and further and higher education.

We want someone with the knowledge and skills to work with staff to lead and drive academic standards, to inspire our pupils to become the best possible version of themselves and to achieve outcomes that lay strong foundations for their future success.

We are looking for an excellent Careers Lead with:

  • experience of working in a careers and/or education environment and evidence of having a positive impact on pupil outcomes
  • Level 6 diploma in Careers Guidance and Development (or willing to undertake this qualification as part of the role)
  • evidence of ongoing professional development within the field of careers
  • an up-to-date knowledge of career routes, including through further and higher education, apprenticeships and employment
  • experience of delivering careers guidance interviews and building effective relationships with pupils and, where applicable, families
  • strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work effectively and flexibly as part of a team and the experience of successful collaboration with colleagues.
