The GlobalInformation Security (GIS) team is responsible for driving thedevelopment, deployment, monitoring and management of information andcyber security across the Computershare businesses, globally. Throughpartnerships with the business units, Technology Services and othersupport functions, the Global Information Security team activelysupports the business objectives whilst reducing the overall compositerisk to Computershare.

TheGlobal Security Operations team is responsible for delivering acomprehensive portfolio of technical security control and monitoringservices across all of the global Computershare environments.

The Cyber Security Engineer role has hands-on responsibilities forthe implementation and maintenance of our o prem and cloud-relatedinfrastructure and technologies. This role’s primary focus will be onthe focused-on integration between cloud and on-prem securityinfrastructure. Responsibilities will expand into other technicalinformation security projects and provide opportunities to cross-trainand upskill in additional leading technologies.

This roleis part of a global team of information security professionals thatdeliver in-depth technical security services for our most criticalapplications and infrastructure to ensure that they are highlyresilient against existing and emerging cyber security threats.

Key Accountabilities:

Provide technical design,implementation and maintenance of our technical securityinfrastructure and policies.
Develop technical solutions and newsecurity toolsets to mitigate security vulnerabilities and automaterepeatable tasks.
Build, implement and tune SIEM eventcorrelation rules, logic, and content to filter out security eventsassociated with known network behaviour, known false positives and/orknown errors.
Build, implement and tune Web Concent protectionrules, logic, and content to filter out security events associatedwith known network behaviour, known false positives and/or knownerrors.
Work with the Security Monitoring team to appropriatelyand practically defend the enterprise in accordance with establishedpolicies, procedures, guidelines and practices.
Prepare anddocument standard operating procedures and protocols.
Work withthe Threat Intelligence and Cyber Assurance teams to monitor andresearch industry information sources for zero-day threats andvulnerabilities that impact Computershare.
Establish and maintainstrong, collaborative working relationships with global and regionaltechnology infrastructure, application, and architecture teams.
