GIB Asset Management is a leading global asset manager in Mayfair, London, with an AUM of over $6 billion. We are seeking a Credit Analyst to work in our Fixed Income team and to contribute to the success of the active Sustainable World Corporate Bond Fund. The role involves researching and making investment recommendations on high yield corporates, considering sustainability throughout the investment decision process.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting thematic analysis on investment themes, industries, and companies.
  • Analysing company financials and integrating ESG factors into the selection process.
  • Monitoring investments to ensure long-term outperformance.
  • Engaging with companies on key issues.
  • Reporting on thematic work, recommendations, and engagements.
  • Representing the team at client meetings, conferences, and public events.
  • Assisting in portfolio management reviews and producing materials for various committees.
  • Participating in system initiatives and upgrades.
  • Understanding and mitigating risks associated with departmental processes.

The ideal candidate must have 3 to 5 years of experience as a Credit Analyst, focusing on non-financial corporates, preferably in US High Yield. They should possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of ESG and sustainability, and ideally the CFA qualification.

Proficiency in IT, especially advanced Excel and modelling skills, is essential. Personal qualities include effective communication, multitasking, diligence, self-motivation, attention to detail, and a drive to expand your product knowledge and further your career.
