Soil Technician

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Shropshire / Herefordshire area to carry out soil sampling and associated in-field services for our farmer clients across the Shropshire region. We are interested to hear from self-employed contractors or individuals who are available to support us throughout the year, who own an ATV.
Often working alone, you will be self motivated, organised and have previous experience involving customer facing activities to ensure we provide a professional and safe service to customers. Full training is provided.
Strong communication skills both over the phone and face to face
Full UK driving licence ideally with a trailer licence included
Field services including GPS soil sampling
Handling of digital data and maps
Management and planning of customer orders and schedules
Excellent communication via phone and on-farm
Active participation with the health and safety culture to fit with SOYLs national policy.
