Kickstart Sales Executive –  Description of the business:

The service procurement and delivery environment is undergoing a dramatic change – resulting in the need for professional services to be more carefully contracted with detailed outcome-based deliverables and greater clarity around supplier working practices.

Aardent provides strategic and practical advice to businesses delivering projects & services via a contingent workforce. In a similar capacity, we support end-client organisations procuring these services. In addition to our advisory capabilities, we have developed a technology platform called SOWaaS® (standing for Statement of Work as a Service) to drive governance, compliance and workflow efficiency for organisations on the buy and sell side of outcome-based services.

Kickstart Sales Executive –  Job Purpose:

Sales executives are the key point of contact between an organisation and its clients: answering queries, offering advice and introducing new services. We are looking for a competitive and trustworthy Sales Executive to help us build our sales activity. Your role as a Sales Executive is to sell Aardent Services to businesses and government organisations. Activity will initially be within the UK and US. In addition to approaching potential customers with the aim of winning new business, you'll strive to maintain good relationships with our existing clients, gaining repeat business wherever possible.

Kickstart Sales Executive –  Duties & Responsibilities:

– Establishing new business opportunities

– Maintaining accurate records

– Attending team meetings and share best practice with colleagues.

– Reviewing sales performance

– Negotiating contracts and packages

– Aiming to achieve monthly or annual targets.

– Build good working relationships and gain a strong understanding of the needs of your business customers

– Present the product or service favourably and in a structured and professional manner.

– Listen to customer requirements and present appropriately to make a sale

– Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails

– Cold call to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business

– Gather market and customer information

– Challenge any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy

– Advise on forthcoming product developments

Kickstart Sales Executive –  Skills & Experience:

This role is open to both university graduates and school leavers who have development experience in any commercial environment.

Strong spoken, written and listening communication skills are a prerequisite for this role, coupled by a desire to learn and develop commercially orientated skills.

Kickstart Sales Executive –  Requirements/Abilities:

– Proven experience as a Sales Executive or relevant role

– Proficiency in English

– Excellent knowledge of MS Office

– Hands-on experience with customer resource management software (CRM) is a plus

– Understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques

– Fast learner and passion for sales

– Self-motivated with a results-driven approach

– Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations

– Genuine interest in learning and developing skills in pursuit of a successful career

Aardent will ensure you receive the training, support and mentoring needed to develop valuable accounting and commercial skills. This will include proactive financial support towards a professional accounting qualification.
