About the Company: Our client is a leading name in property consultancy, known for its industry-leading Town Planning division and a proven track record of success. They have a rich history of guiding projects to fruition across a diverse client base, including developers, landowners, local authorities, and housebuilders. Their influence extends across the UK, delivering planning consents for some of the most exciting and transformative schemes in the built environment.
The Role : As a Planning Director, you will play a pivotal role in the Manchester office, driving business development, leading high-profile projects, and mentoring a team of talented junior planners. You will work in tandem with other Directors, spearheading the planning business in Manchester and ensuring the continued success and growth of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and Manage: Oversee major projects, delivering successful planning consents, and co-managing a team.
Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding the company's project portfolio.
Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the existing Directors to lead the Manchester Planning division, driving innovation and excellence.
Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities.
Who We're Looking For:
Experience: Proven track record of delivering planning consents on significant projects within the Manchester City Council area.
Leadership: Strong leadership skills with experience in managing teams and projects.
Business Acumen: A keen understanding of the business development process and a drive to contribute to the growth of the company.
Passion: A genuine passion for Town Planning and the built environment, with a desire to make a meaningful impact.
