Supporting the Purchasing Manager, the Supply Chain / Inventory Planner will take overall responsibility for material forecasting, ordering, scheduling and other supply chain activities to ensure product availability to the end customer.

What you will be getting involved in as the Inventory Planner?

* You will be supporting the Purchasing Manager and other Supply Chain Team members in forecasting, demand planning and ensuring purchase orders are raised with their global supplier base and manufacturers

* You’ll be looking at sales data and using this to guide your decisions around purchasing stock

You will have worked in a similar role within Inventory Planning / Purchasing / Stock Control / Materials Planning / Materials Control / Supply Chain within the distribution sector and have excellent knowledge of stock/inventory management processes.

You will also need to be confident with using MS Excel and familiar with its data analysis features
