A well-known BIM consultancy is seeking a junior Digital Delivery Manager to join them in a full remote role. This role is only suitable for candidates with a background in Architecture, Engineering or Building Information Management.

Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated Junior Digital Delivery manager to assist in the delivery of technical and software development projects. The successful candidate will collaborate with our team and customers to ensure projects meet requirements and objectives.

Responsibilities & Duties:

1. Project Planning and Strategy:

  • Work with customers to understand their software needs and expectations.
  • Help define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.

2. Team Coordination:

  • Support cross-functional project teams, including developers, designers, and testers.
  • Help assign tasks and manage team performance.
  • Promote a collaborative work environment and encourage open communication.

3. Technical Support and Problem Solving:

  • Understand basic software development methodologies and technologies.
  • Provide support to the project team in decision-making and issue resolution.
  • Assist in identifying potential technical challenges and developing solutions.

4. Risk Management:

  • Identify project risks and assist in developing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor project progress and help take corrective actions as needed.

5. Communication and Stakeholder Management:

  • Maintain relationships with customers, providing updates and facilitating discussions.
  • Communicate project status, milestones, and any deviations to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical teams.

6. Quality Assurance:

  • Assist in implementing quality control processes.
  • Support thorough testing and validation of deliverables.

7. Documentation and Reporting:

  • Help create and maintain project documentation.
  • Assist in generating regular progress reports for stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skill Requirements:

Essential:

  • Some experience in BIM role.
  • Basic knowledge of vaious computational and BIM softwares.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to support technical problem-solving and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle.
  • Willingness to complete Security Clearance as some of our customers are government clients.

Desirable:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Architecture, Engineering, etc.).
  • Knowledge or experience in Information Management and the BIM industry.
