In addition to a great team of more than 10,000 friendly colleagues and over 770 different job profiles, we offer experienced professionals and newcomers many attractive challenges that modern insurance companies face: We deal with the questions of tomorrow - for needs-based insurance for our more than 12 million customers - at our headquarters in Coburg in Upper Franconia and at our 38 branch offices in the office and in the field.
Design and maintenance of software in the BI environment such as IBM InfoSphere DataStage or SQL Server Integration Services
Design and maintenance of data visualization and reporting platforms such as IBM Cognos and Microsoft Power BI
Definition of technical requirements, architecture, security concepts and test strategies
Ongoing optimization of the application architecture based on virtualization, cloud and container technology
Provision of tools based on the latest infrastructure technologies for data engineering, DevOps, etc.
2nd level support and competent contact person, taking into account the level of self-service per application/tool
Degree in (business) informatics, IT specialist training or professional experience in a BI environment
Knowledge of Python, SQL, Docker, Infrastructure as Code, Software Defined Network & Storage Cluster is an advantage
Experience in BI platform engineering and BI architecture as well as in software / ETL development is an advantage
English language skills with regard to the cooperation with our support partners
Thanks to mobile working, you can even work up to half of your monthly working hours from home or on the road under certain conditions.
