Job Description: Electronics Controls Engineer Position Title: Electronics Controls Engineer
Employment Type: Full-Time/on-site

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electronics Controls Engineer to join our client's dynamic engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimising electronic control systems for various applications. This role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the development of efficient, reliable, and innovative control solutions that meet customer and project requirements.

Design and develop electronic control systems for products and machinery, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and safety.

Circuit Design and Analysis:
~ Design analog and digital circuits for control systems, including schematic capture, simulation, and PCB layout.

Software Development:
~ Develop control algorithms and software for real-time applications using languages such as C, C++, Python, or MATLAB.

Testing and Validation:
~ Perform simulations, prototyping, and testing to validate system performance and troubleshoot issues. Conduct hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing when necessary.

Analyze and improve control system performance, reliability, and efficiency. Work closely with other engineering disciplines (mechanical, electrical, software) and departments (manufacturing, quality, etc.) to ensure successful project delivery.

Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including specifications, schematics, test reports, and user manuals.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in designing and developing control systems in an industrial, automotive, aerospace, or related field.
~ Experience with embedded systems, analog/digital circuit design, and programming microcontrollers.

Strong knowledge of embedded programming languages (C, C++, Python, etc.).
Experience with CAD tools for circuit design and simulation (e.g., Hands-on experience with testing and debugging tools (oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.).
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Certifications in relevant areas like Control Systems Engineering, Embedded Systems, or similar would be an asset.
