Senior Software Engineer - Worcestershire Platform Recruitment has partnered with a specialist manufacturer of safety equipment. They are looking to take on a senior software engineer who can take on a pivotal role in leading and executing software development projects across various platforms, with a primary focus on Windows and Linux. Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of software solutions.
  • Utilize Python, Java, C++, and other programming languages to develop scalable and robust software applications.
  • Collaborate with the MLOps team to deploy machine learning models on non-embedded systems, including Nvidia Jetson systems.
  • Good knowledge of testing practices to ensure software reliability, performance, and scalability.
Key skills:
  • Proficiency in Python, Java, C++
  • Familiarity with mobile app development and macOS is highly advantageous.
  • Good knowledge of testing practices, including unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), build tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
