Job Description

This is a varied role for a Marketing Assistant to thrive and gain experience in a range of marketing disciplines including:

 

  • Creation, maintenance and distribution of marketing collateral and social media posts
  • Working with internal staff to create presentations and news articles
  • Monitoring industry publications and social media activity for all customer groups
  • Tracking company activity for analysis
  • Verifying venue information in marketing materials is up-to-date
  • Working with 3 rd party sources to extract information to support sales teams where required
  • General administrative and office duties when required and ad-hoc requests from sales team and Marketing Manager
  • Adhering to all Company standards of performance at all times

About You

We are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Assistant who has:

  • A keen attention to detail
  • Educated to degree level, preferably in business/marketing or minimum 1 year’s experience in a marketing-based role
  • B2B experience (preferred)
  • Professional approach to time, costs and deadlines

Key Skills

• Proactive attitude with ability to plan and prioritise own workload effectively

• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office in particular PowerPoint and Excel

• Excellent IT skills

• Blogging/copywriting experience

• Experience working with WordPress sites advantageous but not essential
